In case you’re not sure, thisisoffset is put together in part by the team behind Offset Festival, and it’s about time we put up a bit of news about the event…

Offset is taking place on August 30-31st at the beautiful Hainault Forest Country Park, Redbridge. That’s about thirty minutes from central London on the Central Line.

We’re putting together an amazing lineup of bands - about 150 of them in fact - playing over 7 stages. The idea is to make the connection between new and old, with our favourite new artists performing, topped off by some of the most influential bands from the past. Joining us will be Last.fm, presenting some of their picks for the future, and promoters including Southend’s influential Experimental Circle Club.
